Thanks to him, Process Excellence is today a component of the company DNA. For all staff members the system has now taken root and enables them to contribute to the realization of company objectives more effectively and with greater speed and efficiency.
And the results of this system are not lacking in any respect; a dynamic has been set in motion in the organization whereby not only are innovative medicines being developed but they are reaching the patients as flawlessly and rapidly as possible.
This outcome is good not only for company results; it is also magnificent for patients.
As Dr. Paul Janssen use to say: “It is five to twelve. We’re late. We must complete our work. The patients are waiting.” Process Excellence has an essential role to play in the actualization of Dr. Janssen’s thinking.
Janssen Pharmaceutica’s record as far as recognition and awards are concerned has been exceptionally good this year:
- Ajit Shetty was acknowledged Manager of the Year.
- Janssen Pharmaceutica was ranked third in a survey conducted by Randstad on the theme of Most Attractive Employer.
- Serge Masy, worldwide director, Information Management, Pharmaceutical R&D, received the ICT Manager of the Year award.
- In June Dr. Paul Janssen was chosen as the most prominent “Economic Trendsetter” in Belgian history.
- Janssen Pharmaceutica was nominated as one of the Most Woman-Friendly Companies.
